N415 billion was shared by the three tiers of government being revenue for April 2017. N274.210 billion was received for the month compared to the N331.583 billion received last month.
The Federal government received N136.633 billion; the states got NN103.842 billion while the local governments received N77.112 billion including Value Added Tax.
Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) got four per cent collection cost from the N56.562 billion it generated for the month. Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) got seven percent collection cost from the N43.468 billion it generated for the month. The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) got 4 per cent collection cost from the N36.115 billion it generated for the month. N22.640 billion being 13 per cent derivation was received by oil producing states.
