The Lagos state public works team were seen de-silting the drainage on Agege motor road, as much as this is welcome, it will not in any way address the situation of the road. The road needs a total overhaul. The state recently filled the potholes with large stones, but this in itself complicates the matter, and does not in anyway solve the problem.
We implore the Lagos state government to reconstruct that section of the road to put an end to the gridlock commuters experience while plying the road.
