Okanla street is in the Orisunbare community of ward D area in Alimosho local government.
This road has been abandoned for several years. It is so bad that even a bicycle cannot be used on the road. The road is in a complete state of disrepair. Erosion has dug deep to a point where the foundation of some houses could be seen.
This street also has links that connects it to 6 streets. Efforts have been made by residence to build mini bridges and stairways, even with this, the condition of the road has not improved. Whenever it rains, children stay indoors, even adults have to be very careful not to be carried off by erosion.
All efforts at getting the attention of the Alimosho LGA to address the situation of the road have proved abortive.
