Agbado flyover project in Ogun is beginning to take shape after seven years

by Omoleye Omoruyi

The flyover project in Agbado in Ogun state, which according to residents was said to have started seven years ago is still under construction, compared to a similar project in neighbouring Ijoko, the project is far from completion.

The project is supposed to be constructed under 24 months (2 years), yet four years after, it is yet to see the light of the day. The government has left the people speculating that the abandonment of the project few sometimes ago was as a result of fund. But contractors have returned to the site of the project and are currently working on the project. Yet the speed of work at the site of the project is slow, and it might be difficult to conclude that the project will be completed before the end of this year.

The Central South Construction Company is the contractor handling the project.
