As bad as Akute roads are, the government insists on turning deaf ears to residents’ plea

Perhaps it is better to say that there are no roads in Akute than to use the connotation of bad roads. For a community sandwiched between Lagos and Ogun, one would have expected better. Akute is one of the several alternative route to lagos, being that, it is an economic pipe, one would have expected that a different reliant economy would spin up, but this becomes impossible in the absence of strategic infrastructure.

Akute has no effective presence of government, and citizens are tired of complaining. It’s high time Ogun state government address the state of infrastructure in this community and give them a sense that they belong to a state.
