Count down to the closure of IDP camps Adamawa— Day 10

by Ajadi Daniel

Adamawa is actually setting a pace with this proposal; hence the state government has no other choice than to bring it to reality.

Closing down the IDPs should be seen as a principal project that the state must realize this year. The question is why is it important that Adamawa close its IDP?

The Boko Haram terrorists have been defeated, the state cannot continue to expend resources on the IDP camps if the major reason that led to the issue in the first place has been addressed. Economically, it is also important that the IDPs are reintegrated to the state economically.

This is why it is important the state empower them in all ramifications to facilitate their return to their various communities.

How best do you think the state can empower the IDPs to facilitate their return to their communities?
