by Ibrahim Faleye,
The Agege flyover project is yet to be completed despite promises from the Lagos state government that the project would be completed November last year. Hope came alive early last year when the governor began the project which has been in the budget for up to two years.Governor Akinwunmi Ambode promised that the project would be completed before the end of the year, precisely November 2018. But at the current time of reporting, the project has not only yet to be completed, but work on it has stagnated.
Contractors are no longer on the site and work has stopped on the project. There has been no explanation or reason as to why the project has been left uncompleted. There are even indication that it has been abandoned for now.
But there are no improvement from the time YMonitor covered the project. We report that the project is yet to be completed as promised, and that work has stopped on the site.
