We hope this letter truly “meets” you well?!
The intention is to let you know our thoughts about all your recent employment interventions.
We took a close look at the most recent intervention, the Special Public Works 774,000 initiative that was to kick off October 2020 to cushion the effects of Covid-19 pandemic (post-lockdown) on unemployed Nigerians. As the country is affirmatively in an economic recession, the dashed hopes of 774,00 recruits remain.
The programme, which was scheduled to last for 3 months, would have engaged 774,000 unemployed Nigerians going by 1000 persons per Local Government Area in Nigeria, but all the powerplay, inefficiency continues to linger on & it would eventually join the list of failed unemployment interventions.
