Lilian Elochukwu Efobi is one of our 30 Ambassadors across the country’s six regions; she currently represents Lagos state and has been at the state’s heart, amplifying awareness on the Freedom of Information Act as well distributing our step-by-step guides.
As our FOI campaign is not restricted to one institution or sector, our Ambassador has engaged different libraries, schools, media outlets, governmental and non-governmental organisations.
The library engaged with a donation of FOI guides in Lagos state include the Lagos State University Library, University of Lagos Library, Federal College of Technology Library, Isolo Public Library and Lagos State Polytechnic Library.
The Lagos FOI Ambassador has also engaged different schools, including the University of Lagos, Lagos State University, Lagos State Polytechnic, Queens College, Cifman college and St. Finbarrs College.
Other institutions and organisations visited include Child & Green Foundation, Peace Age Initiative, YALI Lagos Network and Achiever Innovative Advocates Foundation. To further amplify the campaign through access to a large heterogeneous audience, our Ambassador paid a visit to Wazobia Max TV, where she enlightened the staffs and distributed guides to the media organisation.
