This is a usual occurrence, it happens on a daily basis in ojota, people who uses the bridge practically have to snail their way to the other side of the road using the pedestrian bridge.

What you see here is a long queue of people who wants to use the bridge, and above is also a sea of head which shows how congested it is. This is what those living in that axis have to go through on a daily basis to cross to the other side of the road. The pedestrian bridge itself is partitioned on the stairway to separate those going up the bridge and those coming down from it. It is not a worthwhile experience, but these people have no other alternative if they are to get to the other end of the road.

The above images is a major reason for the daily congestion on the pedestrian bridge. The road as you could see is partitioned by an iron fence which makes it impossible to cross the road from one end to the other, leaving everyone with no choice than to ply the pedestrian bridge, hence the congestion and heavy traffic on the bridge. But to put an end to this, the Lagos state government is constructing another pedestrian bridge, which has started for more than two months, the construction is expected to take four months.

Many await the completion of the second pedestrian bridge, but pending that time, the above would continue to be the experience of those who use the only one available.
