It has become highly perturbing that in recent times, there seems to be a major decline in the rate of voters’ turnout during elections in Nigeria.
Our #YMonitorSpotlight for today presents an analysis of voters turnout for presidential elections from 1999 to 2019.
The 2019 elections recorded the lowest turnout of voters since independence as only 4 of every 10 registered voters voted during the elections.
