At the beginning of the year, the state government planned working on more than 180 inner roads, the Ijagemo road was not included. This road is strategic and one of the longest inner roads in the state. One wonder what criteria was used for the selection of the more than one hundred and eighty inner roads in the state slated for construction, if roads like Ijagemo road is not included nor inner roads like power line road in Ejigbo, also in Lagos.
The road is not better when the rain stops, it is filled with potholes and makes movement of vehicles difficult. Residents have written several letters to the Ojo local government as welll as the Lagos state government. But the road is yet to be addressed.
They are calling on the state government to come to their aid, even if it would have to carry out the project in phases.
