The project is an ongoing project, it cuts through what use to be known as a major market (Lafenwa market), with the traders pushed to both sides of the road. Eventually the traders would be pushed to the market proper after the road is completed.
The project also involve the construction of a drainage network that cuts through the maker as well as the ongoing road. There is no sign post that shows that the project would be completed this year, but the speed of work at the project site is commendable.
