Alagbole flyover was started seven years ago according to residents, the project like the other four similar projects was supposed to take 24 months to complete, but even now, it is yet to see the light of the day.
The project compared to others is in an advanced stage and might be completed this year if the state government is serious about it.
Apart from the flyover ongoing, The road that connects the flyover is also under construction, and sometimes last year, Ogun state government started an exercise that involves extending the road, which led to the demolition of properties. Some residents however informed us that the demolition has stopped without the government embarking on the project due to the upcoming 2019 elections.
The contractor in charge of the project is Central South Construction Company Limited.
