They are rampaging across the country, west, east, north, and taking on different forms, in other corner-office, on the streets of Lagos, on the seat of power, in the wilderness of Sambisa. A grotesque beast-like figure with horns, fangs, & sometimes guns, brown envelope, & even power. All in the wrong hands.
They are dripping blood, the beasts treating us to new delicacies every day. Different stories, circumstances, narratives with the same underlying context of “animals in human skin.” Their war against indiscipline is furthering more indiscipline. “Na Craze world, be dat…”
Untamed, the societal ills the beast brings continue, only now is it certain that this “…uprising will bring out the beast in us”.
Beyond #EndSARs, the systematic impunity in the Nigerian State has to end.
These Beasts of no nation have to end.
