The upper section above would is being filled with re sand, petty work would be done at the adjacent section according to the engineer.

This is a part of the canal stretch which is left undone, according to residents of the area, this stretch leads to mile 12, but the site engineer told YMonitor that this stretch was only dredged and their own contract does not include working on this part. According to him, the government would probably still need to award this as a new contract.

The Image above shows the motorable slab of the canal, but the uncompleted nature of this pit makes that impossible. Perhaps it is expected that this pit would be filled up

This part also need to be graded or leveled, but there is no indication as to that presently.
