YMonitor Quarterly Show: 9th Assembly

The YMonitor Quarterly show for this quarter examined issues surrounding the purchase of new cars by members of the National Assembly.

Brand new 2020 Toyota Camry cars were ordered for members of the 9th Assembly, apart from the effect this would have on the already depleted foreign reserve, it is considered to be insensitive at a time like this given the economic reality of a typical Nigerians.

Fola Daniels, a public Affairs Analyst who was our guest on thow analysed the effect this is having on the political culture of aspiring young politicians in Nigeria who will consider this as normal and would look forward to continuing the status quo.
