Although the present administration prides itself as being heavy in the war against corruption, Nigeria’s ranking on the Corruption Perception Index has continues to worsen with the passing of each year.
On the recent rankings, Nigeria is the second most corrupt country in West Africa after Guinea which is ranked 150 on the global index.
This development comes in spite of a heavy anti-graft campaign by the incumbent administration at the federal level.
Could this be an indicator that corruption is only getting worse in Nigeria?
