Infographics: Who is Nigeria owing?
23 July 2020
Snippets from The Nigeria Symposium for Young & Emerging leaders
21 October 2020

Nigeria’s Government Problematic relationship is best captured by its decade long politicisation of census numbers which in its entirety affects adequate Nation building.

The last time we had a proper census was in 2006, we have been living & running a country off of estimated numbers ever since.

“Data helps uncover truth and, in Nigeria, it has been better for the people that run the country for data to not be available”
– Michael Famoroti.

It’s pertinent that in our drive for a Nation that serves its people. That we also focus on ensuring to raise serious questions about Nigeria’s Governments efforts at being data-led.

“The Nigeria Government may not see data as a tool for them to perform…but if you’re a policymaker or head of state, you can’t manage what you can’t measure”

We call for Deliberate Governance.

Dear Citizens, a Government that has data to back it’s decisions or otherwise?
