To a new onlooker, it could pass on as a new project, but to some of us who ply the Ikorodu road on a daily basis, this abandoned edifice has become a part of our window view and of course it has been that way for almost two years.

Efforts by Ymonitor to interview residents and traders within the area housing the project were unsuccessful, as most of them declined to appear on camera. But they all said the project had been there for more than two years. According to them, It was initiated by the administration of the former governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola.

Presently nothing is going on at the site, and the entrance to the project has been barricaded with a caveat that no one should trespass.
