A whopping sum of ₦128bn is apportioned to the National Assembly as part of the Statutory Transfer in the proposed budget for 2021.
Accordingly, this figure is the highest & marks significantly from last year’s figure of ₦125bn.

The Statutory Transfers of the budgets are appropriations by government institutions enabled by law & backed by the constitution to be made by themselves & can not be altered or reviewed by the Presidency or Executive arm of Government.
